Für alle Schüler und Lehrkräfte sind Angaben zum Geschlecht zu machen. Gemäß der mit dem "Gesetz zur Änderung der in das Geburtenregister einzutragenden Angaben" seit Dezember 2018 geänderten Rechtslage, sind neben den bisherigen Ausprägungen „männlich“ und „weiblich“ nun auch die Ausprägungen „divers“ und „ohne Geschlechtseintrag im Melderegister“ verfügbar.
Es ist wichtig, die Angaben zum Geschlecht sind so vorzunehmen, wie sie den offiziellen Angaben der Meldebehörden zu entnehmen sind (amtliche Dokumente, z.B. Ausweis).
